The Tribal Of Chhattisgarh - Chapter 5 and 6

Chapter- 5

Raghav with a weird beard and Raj with a weird moustache. They roamed in the streets watching the tribal life of Birsapura. The Birsans were all busy in their work except the senior citizens. Mein in the farming, women in animal husbandry and children in pathshalas with guruji [ teachers or priests who were known to be intelligent]. And all   grandmothers[ammas] gossiping and laughing in their own world. And all grandfathers sitting in line reading some newspapers in unknown languages to Raghav and Raj. The tribal was as usual as it seemed to be. Somewhere in the town Raghav and Raj found a religious area may be a temple. The temple was covered only from one side and rest a was open and airy. It has a center with a book named something in Odyssey so, Raghav translated it into Hindi by using his phone by hiding it in his scarf. The book was named  ‘ Vishawasanskriti; Birsa’  which means “Worlds culture; Birsa tribe”. Raghav seemed to be thinking something and Raj too. Vishnu asked “Are you both thinking about the book ?” Raghav and Raj nodded. They seemed that they were thinking to rob the book. But, this was not fair. Snatching someone’s religious books without his/her permission is against humanity.

      On the very next day, Raghav and raj were with whatever they were going to do for their assignment.  Though, Vishnu[priest] tried to encourage them but cannot. Raghav and Raj were fully discouraged. But, now they didn’t get a ticket of train to go back to their respective homes. After a month,  Raghav after a long time contacted his parents form the telephone of the railway station.

         After two days, they reached Raipur[The capital of Chhattisgarh] and were referred to as rescued to Mumbai from a naxal village Birsapura which was not referred to as fully India controlled territory and was not included in an district. Their life started with a new thought, with a new life. With everything new and some guilt  in their hearts , they submitted their assignment with a simple topic of ‘The Issues of Moderns Gonds and Tribal Of Chhattisgarh- with Raghav and Raj’. Though, the guilt was still hidden in some aurora corners of their souls….

Chapter-6

    Once, Raj was surfing on the internet. He saw an article wrote by Parth Birsa raj. He wrote on hi mother tribe “The Birsa”.  The article integrated about the morals, values, inventions, rituals, religion , unity and stories of his father who ran with his family from the village to  shift to cities like Kolkata. A town named Birsapura which contained more cows than humans of only a hundred people living was united and was committed to their religion or culture. But, the last line of the article was very emotional like a cry of blood, it stated as follows;

“Birsans are the re-incarnated successors of the Vedic’s. We have to conserve them, and not allow them to learn themselves in poverty’s pyre.” The statement itself has a meaning and decoded from the writer. Raj was exhausted about thinking of the village and called Raghav;

“Hello!!” “hello!” “Yes, Raj”

“Raghav I got an article, I think it could help you rethink about Birsapur…….”  “Birsapura?” “ OMG, the village of beasts…you know na they , tried to kill us at a point of time”
